Star anise is sourced from northern Vietnam, including Lang Son. Autumn and spring crops differ in appearance and fruit size.
The range includes autumn, spring and reddish star anise, broken pieces and ground star anise. Whole fruit is used in spice blends and broths, with selected grades also used for decoration.
